Rosé Wine

Rosé Wine.

Fresh, expressive and easy to enjoy. These are rosé wines I would choose for warm days, good food, relaxed evenings and moments that should feel light but still special.

My selection

Bottles I like.

I do not want this page to feel like a normal shop. It is more like a personal wine list: what I like, when I would drink it and why I think the bottle is interesting.

Thymiopoulos Rosé de Xinomavro 2024

For me, this rosé feels lively, fresh and a little Mediterranean. I like that it is not just simple and sweet, but has more character: red fruit, wild strawberry, cherry, raspberry and a slightly herbal, mineral feeling. It is the kind of rosé I would choose for sushi, fish, vegetarian food or a warm evening where the wine should still feel interesting.

Clos Cibonne Côtes de Provence Cru Classé Tradition Rosé 2024

For me, this rosé feels more serious, elegant and complex. I like that it has a soft orange-pink color and a richer style with citrus, exotic fruit, ginger, white pepper and subtle rose notes. It is not the kind of rosé I would only drink casually. I would choose it for a better dinner, fish-based dishes, lamb curry or an evening where the wine should feel more refined.

Personal note

Rosé should feel light, but not boring.

I like rosé wines that still have personality. For me, a good rosé should feel fresh and easy, but also have enough character to work with food and not just disappear after one sip.
